Posted by Hello

This information has been posted here to help...please use this only as a guide. i invite you to research these positions and commands on your own as well.

POSITIONS

BARA, OR BINDING Used for punishment, display or transporting
The slave lays on her stomach, face down, forehead and breasts pressed to the floor, her wrists crossed at the small of her back. Her ankles are usually crossed, as well, as if for binding.

“Bara, Kajira!” he said. She rolled quickly to her stomach, placing her wrists behind her, crossed, and crossing her ankles, ready to be bound.” P. 77, Explorers of Gor

"`Bara,' said Mincon to Tula. `Bara,' said I to Feiqa. Both slaves went immediately to their bellies, their heads to the left, their wrists crossed behind their backs, their ankles also crossed. It is a common binding position." Mercenaries of Gor, pg.145

BELLY Used for punishment, display, submission or part of erotic dance
The Master will spread His fingers, palm down indicating the floor
See below for quote: ......... put myself to my belly, legs and arms spread widely, spread eagled Witness of Gor, p 144
In this position the slave falls to the floor face down, her forehead resting flat on the surface, or left cheek pressed to the floor, her arms at her sides palms up or clasped behind her back, sometimes bound, with her knees never touching and crawls to the Master on her belly.

quickly zelia leans herself forward, a tumbling of blonde locks falling to either side of His boots, whimpering inhaling His strong scent, shivering from His strength she senses in Him, her body laying flat before Him, left cheek placed delicately between His boots, melon shaped ass rounding downward as she lays before Him along her heated belly. hands move to either side of her, palms up as she trembles of need, deep desires before Him.....

In this position, upon hearing the command "Belly!" the slave "bellies" before her master, basically falling to her belly at his feet. she lays face down, with her palms pressed flat to the ground on either side of her head, and awaits further commands. She will then crawl to her Master on her belly and rest her chin atop his boot. In Torvaldsland (and presumeably elsewhere) there is a nonverbal command gesture whereby the Master signals the slave should "belly." This gesture consists of the Master pointing to the ground and opening his hand, palm down. Slaves are expected to obey this gesture identically to the way whereby they obey the spoken command.
In Torvaldsland (and presumeably elsewhere) there is a nonverbal command gesture whereby the Master signals the slave should "belly." This gesture consists of the Master pointing to the ground and opening his hand, palm down. Slaves are expected to obey tthe spoken command.
"`Stop,' he said. `To your belly.' Then I was on my belly, on the tiles, my hands at the sides of my head, prone, before his curule chair."--pg.427, Kajira of Gor
"`And if they should snap their fingers and point to the floor?' I asked.`Then I would swiftly lie before them, and as a slave,' she said."--pg.102, Rogue of Gor

“Approach me on your belly,” I said. She squirmed to the table, her hands still behind her. p. 75, Renegades of Gor

BINDING, OR BARA
When ordered into standard binding position the girl lays on the ground, wrists crossed behind the back and ankles crossed. (another name for bara)

“Standard binding position,” he said. I was prone. She rolled quickly to her stomach, placing her wrists behind her, crossed, and crossing her ankles, ready to be bound.” Explorers of Gor, p 77

BLANKET rule of coverage or cloaking
When a blanket or cloak or covering of any sort is thrown over a slave girl, she may not speak or rise; she must remain silent until the blanket is lifted by a free person.

This is the practice whereby the slave is covered with a blanket, cloak, or any convenient piece of cloth. The cloth might cover her entire body, or merely her head. When this is done, the slave has been trained to remain motionless and completely quiet until the cloth is lifted from her by the hand of a free male. This practice is deeply engrained in the behavior of the trained slave, and is part of her initial training. Failure to comply with this command, or the breaking of coverage without permission, typically results in punishment such as a beating. One of the uses of this position is to keep slaves quiet and inconspicuous while they are being transported, perhaps in the back of a wagon, or when the owner is engaged in armed conflict with an enemy.
"I then threw the second blanket, the top blanket, over her, covering her completely. When a blanket, or cloak, or covering of any sort, is thrown over a slave like this she may not speak or rise. She must remain as she is, silent, until the master, or some free man, lifts the covering away." Book 13: Explorers of Gor, p 94

BOUND BY THE MASTER’S WILL
Gorean slaves are commonly trained to obey unquestioningly. When a slave is informed that she is "bound," she is expected to behave in all respects as if she actually were. Typically, when such "binding" takes place, the slave is simply informed that, say, her feet are now bound together, of her hands must remain behind her back, or she is prohibited from rising to her feet. This practice can be useful when actual bracelets or binding fiber are not available, or simply as a convenient way to restrain a trained slave.

"She wore the `bonds of the master's will.' Grunt had put her in them. She could not rise to her feet. Yet there was not a rope or strap on her body. She was `bound by the master's will.' She could not move from this position unless, at the word of a free person, she was freed from it. To break the position otherwise is to be instantly slain."--pg.248, Blood Brothers of

BRACELETS/CHAINING POSITION a.k.a. BRACELETS--STANDING
May also be ordered as Low, kneeling or high standing, as in leisha
In this position the slave stands gracefully before her Master, with her hips slightly turned to one side, her back and shoulders erect, her wrists crossed behind her back and her head turned to the left, in anticipation of having slave bracelets attached to her wrists.

"`Bracelets,' he snapped. She put her head in the air and placed her hands behind her back." --pg.146, Hunters of Gor

She may also be hooded or gagged from this position.

He had removed a pair of light bracelets, joined by about five inches of light chain, from his pouch. “Slave bracelets,” he said. “Turn around, facing the door, your hands behind your back.” P. 132, Kajira of Gor

HIGH BRACELETS:
She stands with feet a shoulder width apart, holding her head high with eyes lowered submissively, her arms out before her with wrists pressed together... ready for binding.
(not found in books, bracelets being sufficient, see above).

CAPTURE POSITION
The slave lays down upon her back, bending her knees to place her feet flat against the ground, hands at her side and remains motionless

COIN:
In this position, a girl is given a coin, something she is not allowed to touch with her fingers. A coin girl, sent to the streets to earn coins for her Master through sexual service, will wear a small leather bag on a tether around her neck.
“The fellow who stood by the table, scarcely noticing the girl, placed a tarsk-bit in her mouth, and she fled back to the counter where, under the eye of a paga attendant, she spit the coin into a copper bowl." page 78,

since slaves are not allowed to touch coins, many times they are given coins with which to purchase items, a bag is tied around their neck, and they are sent to buy....say...bread or meat. the merchant then takes the coins from the slave and puts the merchandise into the bag around her neck which she then returns to her Master.

COLLARING -- BEG
The slave kneels before the one she begs to the collar of, she places His right boot to her throat, she places her arms behind her back, crossing them at the wrist, and remains still, awaiting her fate, for Him to either kill her, or take her as His own.

Also called "the Position of Female Submission." In this position the slave kneels at the Master's feet and leans her body back, sitting upon her heels, with her arms extended upward, crossed at the wrists, and her head beneath them lowered in supplication.
"`Submit,' I told her. She knelt before me, back on her heels, arms extended, head down, between her arms, wrists crossed, as though for binding." Explorers of Gor, p 74

KO’LAR OR COLLARING POSITION Position of Female Submission
slave kneels before the master, back on her heels, arms extended, head down between her arms, wrists crossed as though for binding.
Book 8: Hunters of Gor, p 16

COMMON GOREAN USAGE POSITION
The slave kneels to the floor, and puts her head down, her hands clasped firmly behind the back of her neck, with her buttocks thrust upward and her thighs widely spread in preparation for the sexual use of the Master.
"He knelt me there. `Put your head down, to the floor,' he said. `Clasp your hands, firmly, behind the back of your neck.' `Yes, Master,' I moaned. He was then behind me. He put his hands, under my arms, on my breasts, sweetly and firmly. Then he moved his hands back, caressing my flanks. My head was down. My fingers were together, behind the back of my neck." --pg.434, Kajira of Gor

Gorean position of a pleasure slave and usually the first slave position taught to a new girl. A kneeling slave is directed to straighten her back and sit on her heels, lifting her head, and placing her hands, palms down, on her thighs. There are a couple of examples, which suggest a variation of uplifted palms,

CRAWL
The girl gets down on all fours, palms to elbows flat to the floor, her hips in the air with her forehead or cheek close to but not touching the floor and crawls to the Master’s feet. This approach allows a girl to display her body to the Master in a variety of enticing ways.

I pointed to the stones at my feet. “Crawl,” I said, in Gorean, The girl slipped to her belly, and as a slave girl, crawled to my feet. She put her lips to my foot; I felt her hair over it. P. 78, Tribesmen of Gor

DISPLAY
Standing, feet a little more than shoulders width apart, shoulders rolled back, fingers laced behind neck, face turned to the left, eyes lowered
Display or Standing Position : in this position the slave stands with her feet a bit wider than the width of her shoulders, she then places her hands behind her neck with her fingers interlaced, her head is up but her eyes are lowered in submission. from this position her master may view her beauty or allow others to view her beauty.
Alternatively her arms may be spread above her head and tied or chained to a wall or crrossbeam, this position lifts the line of the breasts - Players of Gor pg 137

GOREAN LOVE BOW
This position may be used in inventive serves, as an alternative to table, and is part of the "Belt Dance." She kneels in nadu position and bends her body backwards, her head to the floor, she places her hands by her head palms down and lowered to the floor, then pulls up into a back bend. The position is painful and not maintained for longer than a few minutes.
“her head then touched the furs, her body a cruel, helpless bow”. p. 185, Assassin of Gor

HAIR POSITION a/k/a Leading
In this position a girl stands, crouching slightly behind the Master and deeply bows her head. From this position, she may be led, for example or moved to another position or simply controlled.
Book 12: Beasts of Gor, p 409.

The master will place his open left hand and will then open and close his hand once at his waist to signal a slave should assume the hair or leading position.

I held my left hand open, at my waist. She stiffened, and looked at me, angrily. I opened and closed my left hand once. I saw her training in Gorean customs had been thorough. But she never thought that such a gesture would be used to her. She came beside me, and a bit behind me, and, crouching, put her head down, deeply. I fastened my hand in her hair. She winced. Women are helpless in this position. Beasts of Gor, p 409.

HEEL
Heeling is a practice whereby the slave assumes her correct place as she follows her Master, remaining "at his heel," commonly while walking. If the Master who gives the command to heel is not walking at the time, the slave is expected to position herself in such a way so she is prepared to instantly heel when he moves. It is common for the slave to heel a right-handed Master slightly behind him and to his left, to prevent her from interfering with his weapon hand should trouble arise. The slave will normally follow the Master a few steps to the rear unless in a crowded situation, where she might heel him more closely, even pressing against him from behind, while in an open field, she may be 5 - 10 feet following. Slaves seldom heel a Master on his right side; unless they are in disfavor for some reason, and this is a rather public statement that a slave has displeased her owner.
"The Forkbeard turned about and, one arm about Pudding, the other about Gunnhild, started from the dock. Hilda followed him, to his left. 'She heels nicely,' said Ottar. The men and bond-maids laughed. The Forkbeard stopped. Hilda's face burned red with fury, but she kept her head high. Pet sleen are taught to heel; so, too, sometimes, are bond-maids; I was familiar with this sort of thing, of course; in the south it was quite common for slave girls; in various fashions in various cities, to heel their masters. Hilda, of course, was a free woman. For her to heel was an incredible humiliation. The Forkbeard started off again, and then again stopped. Again, Hilda followed him as before. 'She is heeling!' laughed Ottar." Book 9: Marauders of Gor, pg.123

HIGH HARNESS POSITION Display Position
A position in which a kneeling, braceleted slave is displayed by her Master for the perusal of others. A leash or lead is attached to her collar and raised until her head carriage is very high, her chin thrust forward, her neck stretched straight upward from her shoulders. Sometimes a Master will command a girl to assume this position even when she has not been leashed and braceleted, for his viewing pleasure. An excellent position whereby a slave's mouth can be forced open for feeding, or to have her teeth checked.
"`Lift your head,' he said. `Higher. Higher!' She looked up at him, her head far back, the leash on her throat...`You need not now keep your head in high-harness position,' he said to the girl." Book 21: Mercenaries of Gor, pg.308-309

KARTA Position of Obedience
She kneels on the floor, her thighs spread widely to allow her to lay her chest upon the floor, she leans forward placing her breasts and forehead against the floor, she reaches out with her arms fully extended, palms against floor. Ankles may be crossed or uncrossed. Show utmost respect.
"Now" I said, " and this is clearly a form of obeisance, bend forward and put your head to the mat, the palms of your hands on the mat. Good. Now lift your head a little and come forward, substancially keeping the position. Forward a little more." " But then my face will be at your feet," she said," My lips will be over them!" "Yes," I said, "Good, now, put your head down and lick and kiss my feet." p. 410 Mercenaries of Gor

KNEE WALK
she then lowers her body upon her knees, her body erect and proud, stomach held in tightly breasts thrust out. When she reaches her objective, she halts and stands, her body erect, her shoulders back, her chest thrust forward, her belly in. her head is up and eyes lowered.

KNEEL TO COFFLE
Kneels, normally thighs parted, up upon the heels and lifts either the left or right wrist outwards, depending on the type of coffle, so that the wrist can be attached to a wrist ring within the coffle chain.
"`Kneel to be coffled,' said one of the men. The girls knelt, closely, one behind the other, there were six wrist rings on the chain he carried. He placed the girl who had been whipped by Lady Sabina first in the coffle line. `Left wrist coffle,' he said. They lifted their left wrists, frightened. Interestingly, the man snapping the wrist rings on the girls' left wrists did not put the first girl in the first ring, but the second. When the four maids were coffled there was, thus, an empty wrist ring both at the head and rear of the line. `Stand, Slaves,' said the man. `Lower chain.' The girls stood. Then, ordered, they lowered their wrists. They were then in line, standing, coffled." Slave Girl of Gor, pg.127

KNEEL TO WHIP
In this position, the slave first assumes the position of the Pleasure Slave (Nadu), kneeling with her legs spread, her back towards the commanding Master. She then crosses her arms in front of her, across her chest. She leans far forward, careful that her hairs not cover her back, which must be fully exposed to the Master for application of punishment, typically a whipping.
"I went to Targo, trembling, and knelt at his feet... I crossed my wrists beneath me and touched my head to the floor, exposing the bow of my back. It is the submissive posture of a slave girl who is to be punished. It is called Kneeling to the Whip." page 200, Captive of Gor
Book 3: Priest-Kings of Gor, p 201 and 202
Book 7: Captive of Gor, p 200
Book 15: Rogue of Gor, p 21

Kneeling: The hand signal for kneeling is simply for the master to point to the ground in front of him. The position of his fingers, whether open or closed will determine if the slave kneels in nadu or tower. Open fingers and she will spread her knees. Closed fingers and she will kneel with knees together.

He suddenly snapped His fingers and, in the swift double gesture of a Gorean Master, pointed to a place on the dirt floor before Him, almost simultaneously turning His hand, spreading His first and index finger, pointing downwards.
I fled to Him and knelt before Him, my knees in the dirt, in the position of the pleasure slave, my head down, trembling. Captive of Gor, p 143.

LEADING POSITION
When given this command, the slave stands and moves behind the Master, bending at the waist. She places her hands behind her and puts the side of her head to her Master's hip, that he might lead her easily by the hair or collar while walking. Alternately the Master may simply drop his hand to his hip (usually his left hand to his left hip) and open and close it, signaling non-verbally that he wishes the slave to place her hair within his hand, at his disposal, for leading.
"`Leading position,' he said. Sobbing, she rose to her feet, and put her head down, at what would be the height of a man's waist, her legs flexed. A guard walked over and fastened his hand in her hair.
`Have her whipped,' said Policrates. `Yes, Captain,' said the man. He then left the chamber, pulling the girl, sobbing, at his side." Rogue of Gor P.248
"I held my left hand open, at my waist. She stiffened, and looked at me, angrily. I opened and closed my left hand once. I saw her training in Gorean customs had been thorough. But she never thought that such a gesture would be used to her. She came beside me, and a bit behind me, and, crouching, put her head down, deeply. I fastened my hand in her hair." Beasts of Gor, pg.409

LESHA POSITION:
This position is used to attach a leash. She stands/kneels, her back to her Master, with her chin lifted and head turned to the left, offering her collar for leashing. Her wrists are behind her back ready for slave bracelets to be used or her wrists bound with fibers. If she is already prone, the slave crosses her wrists behind her back, and also crosses her ankles, in preparation to be tied or chained.
A gorean saying has it that a leashed slave is a hot slave. p.366, #14 Fighting Slave of Gor "Lesha," snapped the second officer to the blond girl. She spun from facing him, and lifted her chin, turning her head to the left, placing her wrists behind her, as though for snapping them into slave bracelets. p. 76,

LOW LESHA /KNEELING
kneels with her back to her Master.. spreading thighs wide.. arches back stiffly and places hands ... Wrists crossed at the small of her back ready for slave bracelets to be used or wrists bound with fibers. turns her head to the left with eyes lowered submissively chin held high, offering her collar for leashing. And lips parted slightly.. awaits the leash

HIGH LESHA
the girl stands, her feet parted so the knees do not touch, her eyes lowered. Wrists crossed at the small of her back ready for slave bracelets to be used or wrists bound with fibers. turns her head to the left with eyes lowered submissively chin held high, offering her collar for leashing Some girls beg to be leashed, sometimes crawling to their masters, their leash held between their small, fine teeth. Most masters use the leash at one time or another.

MASTER’S KISS
Takes her hair in His hand and yanks back her head hard as He pulls back on her hair exposing her neck and face to Him. He attacks her lips with His own kissing her passionately and powerfully, taking her top lip in His teeth He bites down on it and then takes her bottom lip and sucking on it bites down on it as well as He continues to kiss her, leaving a purple mark upon both lips, sometimes even drawing blood. He then kisses her exposed neck.

NADU (Gorean for kneel)
The first and most often used of all of the Gorean slave positions, and one of the first ones a slave learns. The command is often called "Nadu," from what seems to be a common Gorean word for "kneel." In this position the slave kneels and sits upon her heels with her back and shoulders straight, her chest out, belly in, and her head up, though she averts her eyes to the floor. Her thighs are open, widely spread, and her hands rest upon her thighs. A common misconception of this position is that the ankles are crossed. Occasionally the wrists are crossed behind the back, a variation which seems to be practiced in several cities, notably the city of Thentis. There is a nonverbal command signal associated with this position: to signal that the slave should assume the position, the Master may simply point to the floor and then, with his first two fingers extended and his hand palm-downward, spread his first two fingers open (the index and pointer fingers) as if they were the slave's "legs" opening to kneel. The slave is expected to respond to this gesture as they would to the spoken command.

“He suddenly snapped His fingers and, in the swift double gesture of a Gorean Master, pointed to a place on the dirt floor before Him, almost simultaneously turning His hand, spreading His first and index finger pointing downwards. I fled to Him and knelt before Him, my knees in the dirt, in the position of the pleasure slave, my head down, trembling.” Captive of Gor, p. 143.
“Look up,” He said, “Kneel straightly, Put your hands on your thighs. Head up. Split your knees. More widely, slut!” Dancer of Gor, p. 51

NESTLE
"Nestle" I told her. "Yes Master" she said. She nestled obediently in the crook of my left arm." Book 13: Explorers of Gor, p 279

ON THE SNAP
If a slave is in the service of a free Gorean, and he snaps his fingers, without further motions, she goes his feet, and kneels. If she is at his feet already, she stands.

"I snapped my fingers. She knelt. I snapped my fingers again. She stood." Fighting Slave of Gor, pg.215
"I snapped my fingers. `Yes Master,' she said. She approached the sound and knelt before me." Fighting Slave of Gor, pg.248

OBEDIENCE POSITION:
She falls to the floor upon her belly, face down before the Master. She turns her head and places her cheek against his boots, kissing them lightly in a gesture of love and submission. She may also lick them or dust them with her hair in this manner.
"Now inch forward," I said, " remaining low on your belly, and when you reach my feet, once again, as before, lifting your head a little, tenderly and humbly, and beautifully, as though you were a slave , lick and kiss them. Good. Good. Now take my foot and place it gently on your head. Very good. Now place it again on the Mat, and kiss it again. Good. You may now belly back a little, humbly. I have not yet given you permission to rise of course." p. 411 Mercenaries of Gor

SECOND OBEDIENCE
The slave lowers herself onto her belly on the floor. She then inches forward, remaining low on hre belly, and upon reaching the Master’s feet, she licks and kisses them. Afterwards she takes the Masters foot and places it gently upon her head. She then lowers His foot to the floor and kisses it again. She may then inch back a bit, still on her belly humbly.

OBEISANCE POSITION (Like Prostrate Position)—when a girl begs
In the most common position of Gorean slave obeisance, the slave kneels and sits upon her heels with her back and shoulders straight, her chest out, belly in, and her head up, though she averts her eyes to the floor. Her thighs are open, widely spread. The slave then bends forward and lowers her head to the floor, her arms outstretched, the palms of her hands pressed to the floor. In another variation, the slave lowers herself onto her belly on the floor. She then inches forward, remaining low on her belly, and upon reaching the Master's feet, she licks and kisses them. Afterwards she takes the Master's foot and places it gently upon her head. She then lowers his foot again to the floor, and kisses it again. She then may inch backwards a bit, still on her belly, humbly.
"`You may do obeisance, my dear,' said Kliomenes.
The girl rose to her feet and went to Kliomenes. She knelt before him, on the dias, and put her head down. Gently, softly, she licked and kissed his feet. She then rose again to her feet, backed away, and then, on the tiles, again knelt. She put the palms of her hands on the tiles, and lowered her head to the tiles. Then she straightened up, her back straight, assuming the position of the pleasure slave, though keeping her head bowed, deferentially." Rogue of Gor, pg.299

PROSTRATE (Like Obesance)
This is used when waiting permission to enter a room and sometimes, to speak. The kajira kneels touching her forehead to the floor stretching her arms out before her with palms down and fingers spread.
“At his entrance Susan put the palms of her hands on the floor and lowered her head to the tiles, assuming a position of slave obeisance common with her in the presence of her master”. p. 157, Kajira of Gor

PRONE
Lay flat on back, legs pointed to Master if possible, with wide spread thighs, arms resting at sides with palms up, left knee flexed slightly to enhance the view. Keep eyes lowered and await inspection.

RUN
When this command is given, she runs toward her objective, taking short rapid steps, with her legs almost straight, her feet hardly leaving the floor. As she moves her back is straight, her head is turned to the elft, and her arms are at her sides, her palms facing outward at a 45 degree angle to her body. Upon reaching her objective she drops gracefully to her knees and typically resumes the position of Nadu.

"I was amused, for she had run as a slave girl is sometimes taught to run, with rapid short steps, her legs almost straight, her feet scarcely leaving the ground, back straight, head turned to the left, arms at her sides, palms out at a forty-five degree angle, more of a dancer's motion than a true run." Assassin of Gor, pg.45

SERAR
the slave drapes her body over the legs of her Master .. who would be seated.. if she is able .. she keeps her hands and feet planted firmly to the floor on each side.. raising her posterior.. giving complete access to her Master.. the important part of this position is that her derriere is in such a position that it becomes easily accessible to the Master.. for discipline purposes or training her posterior opening for other purposes..

SEX
She moves to her hands and knees…her legs parted widely…her head straight…is motionless waiting for the Master’s command and pleasure.

SHE QADRUPED, Modality of Punishment
This is not technically a position but is definitely a command sometimes used for punishment. An instruction whereby the slave performs her regular duties upon hands and knees without the benefit of the use of her hands. In this mode she may not rise to her feet and may use only her mouth and teeth to grasp and manipulate objects.
Book 16: Guardsman of Gor, p 225; Book 21: Mercenaries of Gor, p 215

SHE-SLEEN Also known as "assuming the modality of the she-quadruped."
She falls to her hands and knees, her head down on the floor, her hindquarters thrust high for viewing and/or her Master's pleasure. "Serving in the modality of the she-quadruped" is an instruction whereby the slave performs her regular duties upon hands and knees, without the benefit of the use of her hands and unable to rise to her feet, using only her mouth and teeth to grasp and manipulate objects.
“a naked slave in sleen collar, was ordered forth on her hands and knees. A sleen leash was attached to her collar and she was marched, as a she-sleen, crawling, abused, to the rape-rack in which I had been earlier confined.” p. 238, Slave Girl of Gor
position used for humiliation and only using your mouth

SLAVE RAPE POSITION
A position sometimes used by Gorean Masters when subjecting their property to what the men of Torvaldsland call "the whip of the furs:" punishment through sexual use. The slave is ordered to lie down upon her back with her head to the floor, legs spread, to await the ministrations of her Master.
"I went to the side of the room and picked up my sea bag. I threw it to the center of the room. She looked down at it, puzzled. It was of heavy blue material, canvas, and tied with white rope.`Lie down upon it,' I told her, `on your back, your head to the floor.' She did so. `No, please,' she said, `not like this.' It is a common position for disciplinary slave rape. In it the woman feels very vulnerable, very helpless.” Explorers of Gor."pg.202

SLAVES LIPS COMMAND
the slave turns her head up to her Master lips pursed in a sensual kissing position. she remains motionless her lips are puckered and my not move until she is granted the kiss of a Master.
"A girl who is commanded to make slave lips, or who receives the command, `Slave lips,' must form her mouth for kissing. She then, commonly, is not permitted to break this lips position until she kisses or is kissed. Needless to say, a girl cannot speak when her lips are in the unbroken, fully pursed slave lips position. The command which commonly follows the `Slave lips' command is, `Please me.'"Blood Brothers of Gorand 404; Book 19: Kajira of Gor, p 224

SLAVERS KISS / SLAVERS CARESS
She falls to the floor upon all fours, and lowers her head to the ground, turning so her left cheek presses to the ground, eyes closed, with her buttocks thrust upward and her thighs widely spread, exposing her hindquarters fully in preparation for the caress of the leather against her body.

"I supposed the requirements of the slaves were high. Each of the girls, I suspected, would be vital and much alive. Each of them I knew was beautiful. Each of them I suspected would be intelligent, for Goreans, as the men of Earth commonly do not, celebrate quickness of mind and alertness in a girl. and now they were in the kennels." p. 125 Assassin of Gor

STAKE POSITION COMMAND
When chained at a stake with this command, the slave lies down and is not permitted to rise even to her knees. Book 24: Vagabonds of Gor, p 386

STAND
Shoulders back, with feet slightly parted, the left foot somewhat forward of the right with the slight flex in the knee and the feet angled out a bit, hips canted slightly, right hand rests palm in on the hip, left hand resting with the palm against the upper thigh, This is a seductive pose.
To stand as a Gorean kajira can be best described by this passage from the book, Slave Girl of Gor, p. 249. "He looked me over. I blushed, under Gorean appraisal, I only wore my tether. "Stand as a slave," he said, ‘I stood beautifully, back straight, head high, belly sucked in, hip turned. No woman can stand more beautifully than as a gorean slave girl. "Excellant," said Ladletender, smacking his lips. "Master is pleased," I said. "Yes," he said. "The slave too, is then pleased," I said.

Strip: Regardless of how a slave is clothed, the hand signal for stripping is for the master to pointing to the girl’s left shoulder where a disrobing loop is usually found on a tunic to be followed by a hand signal to indicate which position he then wants the slave to assume. In the text below the slave is ordered first to strip and then is ordered to her belly.

Two gestures then did he make, in quick succession, the first indicating the left shoulder where, had I been tunicked in that fashion, there would have been a disrobing loop, and the second indicating, fingers spread, palm down, the floor. Instantly I drew the tunic over my head, stripping myself before him, and turned about, and put myself to my belly, legs and arms spread widely, spread-eagled. Witness of Gor, p 144.

SUBMISSION
She kneels, bending at the waist with her hips rising into the air and places her left cheek to the floor. She might, at His wish take her Master's right foot and place it upon her neck, moving her arms behind her back, crossing them at the wrist. A Collared slave often greets her Master in this way. To touch a Master requires permission, normally. Swiftly we assumed a common form of slave obeisance, kneeling, the palms of our hands on the ground, our heads to the ground. Many masters, though it tends to be rather associated usually with given cities, require this position of their girls, usually when they first enter his presence or find themselves, as in a room which he has entered, in his presence.
p. 114, Dancer of Gor

SUGA Similar to the karta
This is very similar to karta but in this her wrists are crossed. She kneels, knees wide apart and lays her head to the floor, lays her head to the floor, one cheek to the floor, arms stretched over head and wrists crossed, lying quietly awaiting His permission to speak. She came and stood before me, and then dropped to her knees, resting back on her heels.
“she lowered her head and extended her arms, wrists crossed, the submission of the Gorean female.” p 92, Raiders of Gor, “arms stretched over head and wrists crossed, awaiting His permission to speak”

SULA
She lays on her back, her hands at her sides, palms facing upward or may be have arms extending above her head with wrists crossed. Her legs are spread wide open….she awaits Master’s inspection or pleasure. This position may be used to confirm white-silk status.
"`Sula, Kajira!' said the man. She slid her legs from under her and lay on her back, her hands at her sides, palms up, legs open."--pg.77, Explorers of Gor

SULA-KI
Similar to the sula position, except once she has assumed the sula position she slowly lifts her hips up off the floor, as if beckoning him with her body, encouraging her sexual use by him. Not expressly described within the scrolls, but appears to be described in this passage: ...
she lay on her back, her knees drawn up, before me. She arched her back. Her breasts were lifted beautifully. I observed their lovely rise and fall, correlated with the respiratory cycle of her small lungs. Then she lay back, her shoulders in the dirt, and pressing against the earth with her small feet, piteously lifted before me, for my examination, and seizure, if I pleased, the deep belly of her, the sweet cradle of her slave's heat. p. 329, Explorers of Gor

SUPINE CAPTURE POSITION
This position is one of many which is used to indicate that the slave in question is currently within the capture rights of a particular free Gorean. In this particular version, the captured slave lays down upon her back, bending her knees to place her feet flat against the ground, hands at her side. She then remains motionless. Should she break this position, she is indicating that she has not yet been subdued, and often will be severely punished for forcing the Master to reinforce his position of authority over her.
"`On your back,' he said, `knees raised, heels on the floor.' I then lay before him, in a standard, supine capture position." Kajira of Gor, pg.422

TABLE
Used when a Master is in need of a table to rest his drink or to just rest his feet or elbows, she goes to all fours, locking her elbows, making her back smooth and level, holding her head level as well, eyes straight ahead. It may be used for punishment and can be tiring.

THIGH
This command might be given to a female or to a Free person with a female, who is not identified. It essentially means, show your brand. Book 16: Guardsman of Gor, p 184; Book 24: Vagabonds of Gor, ps 383 and 399

TILE POSITION
when passed by a Free Person in a hallway, room, or otherwise, to show their status as a slave will stop whatever they are doing, go down to their knees into the position of nadu, if they were standing, and then quickly lower their forehead to the floor, their arms outstretched and remain in this still position until the Free Person has completely passed by, or they decide to command the slave otherwise. (see "Kajira of Gor" p. 145-146)

TOWER NADU
In this form of nadu, she kneels the same way, but with her palms down and her knees modestly together. The position may also be done with the arms crossed at the wrists before resting upon her lap or the hands may be holding something, such as a tablet for inscribing ciphers, etc. typically reserved for underage or white-silk slave girls, Free Women including those in temporary service to pay a debt, or slave girls who serve their Master in a nonsexual way. Some Masters may ask their slaves to serve Others from this position, or Free Women are typically served in this position except by silk slaves who are also kajirus.
"The position of the Tower Slave, in which Vika knelt, differs from that of a free woman only in the position of the wrists which are held before her and, when not occupied, crossed as though for binding. A free woman's wrists are never so placed." Priest-Kings of Gor, p 46.
"Kneel," I said. " 'Kneel' ,?" she asked. "That is my first order," I said. She regarded me. "Do you not know how a woman serves at table?" I asked. .... "You may keep your knees together," I said, "as you are a free woman." Renegades of Gor, p. 69. "Kneel up," said a man. "Higher, up, off your heels. Keep those pretty knees wide. Hold still."
USAGE
This is a disciplinary position wherein the slave is ordered to lie supine and motionaless in preparation for usage.
Book 13: Explorers of Gor, p 202

USE Discipline
A punishment which avows the free man’s prerogative to sexually use a house-owned girl as discipline. There are examples which state that these rights are governed by a Code, wherein a girl may not be used or disciplined without the permission of her owner.
Book 11: Salve Girl of Gor, p 226; Bood 12: Beasts of Gor, p 174; Book 25: Magicians of Gor, p 329-330

WALK
slave turns in a graceful pirouette. she then walks, gliding across the room, her feet hardly seeming to leave the floor, her hips swaying sensually, her body erect and proud. When she reaches her objective, she halts and stands, her body erect, her shoulders back, her chest thrust forward, her belly in. she turns her hip out a bit, her hands at her sides and points one foot. her head is up and eyes lowered.

WHIP
She first assumes the Nadu position, though with her arms crossed in front of her. She then leans forward and places her head to the floor, first sweeping her hair forward over the shoulders in order that her back might be utterly exposed to the whip.
“I went to Targo, trembling, and knelt at his feet….I crossed my wrists beneath me and touched my head to the floor, exposing the bow of my back. It is the submissive posture of a slave girl who is to be punished. It is called kneeling to the whip.” Captive of Gor, p 200

PLEASURE SLAVE POSITION
"The position of the Pleasure Slave, incidentally, differs from the position of both the free woman and the Tower Slave. The hands of a Pleasure Slave normally rest on her thighs but, in some cities, for example, Thentis, I believe, they are crossed behind her. More significantly, for the free woman's hands may also rest on her thighs, there is a difference in the placement of the knees. In all these kneeling positions, incidentally, even that of the Pleasure Slave, the Gorean woman carries herself well; her back is straight and her chin is high. She tends to be vital and beautiful to look upon."pg.46-47, Priest-Kings of Gor

TOWER SLAVE POSITION
"The position of the tower slave, in most cities, is very similar to that of the pleasure slave. The major difference is that the tower slave, whose duties are commonly, primarily, domestic, kneels with her knees in a closed position, whereas the pleasure slave, in a symbolic recognition of the fuller nature of her bondage, and its most significant aspects, kneels with them in open position. The tower slave, of course, like any other slave, is fully at the disposal of the master, in any and every way. The distinction between the tower slave and the pleasure slave, though honored in some markets, some specializing in girls sold primarily for housekeeping purposes and others in girls sold primarily for the pleasures of men, is not really a hard and fast distinction; it is not absolute; indeed, it can even be transitory. A girl who is ordered to open her knees, or who finds them kicked apart, for example, realizes that she has now become a pleasure slave. Similarly a girl in one context may function as one kind of slave and in another context, as another sort. Serving supper to a young man and his mother, for example, the girl may appear merely efficient and deferential. She kneels nearby, her knees closed. After the mother departs, however, she may kneel differently before the young man, with her knees open, his."
